30 Days Of Night Poster

A 2022 privately commissioned Alternative Movie Poster (24"x 36") for the Sam Raimi Alaskan vampire film "30 Days Of Night" (2007) with artwork by Enzo Sciotti.

A striking & poignant poster. This was the last artwork the great poster artist Enzo Sciotti completed before his death in 2021 (he died just days after finishing the composition). The poster was issued in 2022 as a regular 12-colour screenprint version of 66, as a fine art giclee (20 posters) & as a variant fine art giclee with a screenprinted "Double Spot Gloss Varnish Blood Layer" (40 posters). This poster is the latter giclee variant & is numbered "27/40". The poster is printed on "Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Metallic Paper" & the "blood gloss" ink displays to spectacular effect.

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
