Anatomy of a Murder Poster

US 1-Sheet Style-B linen-backed movie poster for Otto Preminger's "Anatomy Of A Murder" (1959) with Saul Bass poster illustration (please note the images have NOT been Photoshopped so that you get an accurate idea as to the actual colour of the poster).

This stylish courtroom drama was graced with a strong cast, a musical score by Duke Ellington & adult themes in variance with the norms at the time. The film was both a commercial & critical successs, garnering seven Oscar nominations. In typical fashion, Saul Bass presents two large blocks of colour with a trademark simple black graphic display. A classy piece of poster design for a classy film. The Style-B poster is infinitely more collectable than the "yellow" Style-A poster (showed here for reference image courtesy of emovieposter).

Poster folded prior to backing. Some restoration to foldline wear, a spot towards bottom right & several small spots to upper right. Poster displays very well.
