Battle Of Britain Poster

TWO scarce pieces of memorabilia for the classic British war film "Battle of Britain" (1969).

A 10" diameter promo poster with adapted artwork from the Quad poster showing the vapour trails in the opposing colours of the protagonists (a brilliant piece of design) with the declaration "A TRULY GREAT BRITISH PICTURE" (for comparison please see the Quad poster we have for sale: https://www.moviepostermem.com/Battle-Of-Britain-Poster/62465). This item is sold together with a facsimilie newspaper front page (17"x 24") that reproduces contemporary coverage of the actual Battle of Britain (1940). These items were sold to cinema managers to supplement the normal cinema poster advertising that was available. Up until the later 1970's it was customary for cinema managers to use such advertising materials to create bespoke displays in their foyers. These items were even less likely to be saved after use & are rarer than the already scarce Quad posters.
