Blade Runner Poster

A 2024 privately commissioned AMP giclee poster (24"x 36") for "Blade Runner" (1982) with artwork by Gustavo Barroni.

A really interesting composition with an atmospheric background & pastel effect illustrations of the key characters. This is the "regular" version giclee poster of which only 85 were created (the poster has been hand-numbered on the bottom rim). In keeping with the sophisticated printing techniques used on such AMP posters, a spot gloss varnish layer has been applied to the specialist paper used (in this case a "Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic Paper")."Blade Runner" is a popular title in the AMP/Mondo market but this is one of the best interpretations we've seen to date (for comparison with the original UK Quad cinema poster please see: https://www.moviepostermem.com/Blade-Runner-Poster/61953).

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
