Cannibal Holocaust

Original painted artwork by Graham Humphreys for the 2015 LP cover of "Cannibal Holocaust" (1980).

This Italian exploitation film became notorious for its depictions of graphic violence & the film was subject to various bans & censorship. The controversy that ensued at launch has ensured the film's cult status. Humphrey's depiction of blood, guts, gore & skeletal remains suitably reflects the film (we show an image of the published LP front & back covers). The original soundtrack was by Riz Ortolani who provided the musical score for the original Italian "Shockumentary" "Mondo Cane" (1962).
