Carry On Don't Lose Your Head Poster

Scarce UK Quad cinema poster for the "Carry On" comedy "Don't Lose Your Head" (1966) with poster illustration by Renato Fratini.

Although the film lacked the "Carry On" prefix upon initial release both this & the successor "Follow That Camel" (1967) are both regarded as being firmly part of the "Carry On" canon. After "Carry On Screaming" (1966) Producer Peter Rogers moved the "Carry On" franchise from Anglo-Amalgamated to rivals Rank. While Rank were keen to land the business they wanted to dis-associate themselves from their rivals hence the ditching of the "Carry On" prefix. This was patently a mistake & when "...Head" & "...Camel" were re-released the "Carry On" prefix was restored to the titles & both films performed well!

Poster folded & subsequently rolled (will be sent in a tube). There are several neat pin-holes to corners & some writing to the reverse which does NOT show through. Overall the poster is in excellent condition.
