Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Poster

UK Quad "montage" Style-B cinema poster for the musical-adventure "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" (1968).

Although a very different kind of film to James Bond, there was bags of "Bond interest" in this film. First, the concept was based on an Ian Fleming story. Secondly the film was made by Bond producer Albert Broccoli. Gert Frobe, from "Goldfinger", co-starred & following hot on the heels of "You Only Live Twice" (1967) Broccoli used many of the same team for the production of "Chitty.." including scriptwriter Roald Dahl & set designer Ken Adam. A typically exciting & classy production ensued.

Poster folded with a 2 1/2" conservation tape repair to upper left rim & several pin-holes to corners/rim. These issues are fairly unobtrusive & as can be seen the poster displays to excellent effect (NO Photoshop used to artificially enhance the colours here!).
