Deadly Advice

Vic Fair finished artwork (17"x 24 1/2") for the black-comedy "Deadly Advice" (1994).

This inventive composition is essentially a photographic design. We believe this was unused artwork for the UK video release of the film which followed four months after the cinema release. The photo-based design reflects the "new" demands of the era, painted designs being mostly dropped by 1990-91.

The artwork consists of various photo cut-outs being superimposed on the wallpaper photo background. An acetate overlay carries the text & has been air-brushed in the upper portions. The artwork is affixed to polyboard with a small card "mount" added to the rim for presentation purposes. A lot of thought has gone into this creation.
