Diamond City Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the British thriller set in the South African diamond fields in 1870, "Diamond City" (1951).

The poster presents some fabulous dynamic artwork (artist unidentified). Produced by Gainsborough Pictures (1924-51), who were based for a long time in Hoxton London, the film had an interesting cast including a young Diana Dors, in her first co-lead role plus Honor Blackman in one of her earliest films too.

Poster folded with various pin-holes, edge nicks, plus some thin paint markings to upper portion & some surface paper loss to centre where a sticker presumably removed. Nonetheless, this is a rare Quad title & has been priced in accordance with condition to allowfor potential restoration.
