Easy Rider Poster

A UK Quad linen-backed first release cinema poster for the iconic counter-culture movie "Easy Rider" (1969).

This cult classic was scripted by a young Jack Nicholson. A film very much reflective of the counter-culture of it's time, "Easy Rider" was made for a mere $500,000. The film was one of the first to embellish its soundtrack with a pot-pourri of hard rock music and was to spawn a series of "personal statement" movies in it's wake. At the London premiere the organisers recruited Hell's Angels to drive around Leicester Square on their Harleys - a leap of faith!

Poster originally folded but now linen-backed. The poster appears to have been in very good condition prior to backing with minor creasing/scuffs etc but has required light restoration only.
