Easy Rider Poster

A UK Quad first release poster for the iconic counter-culture movie "Easy Rider" (1969).

This cult classic was scripted by a young Jack Nicholson. A film very much reflective of the counter-culture of it's time, "Easy Rider" was made for a mere $500,000. The film was one of the first to embellish its soundtrack with a pot-pourri of hard rock music and was to spawn a series of "personal statement" movies in it's wake. At the London premiere the organisers recruited Hells Angels to drive around Leicester Square on their Harleys - a leap of faith!

Poster folded with light foldline wear, several small conservation tape strengtheners to crossfolds to reverse but very little "rub" from the orange day-glo that sometimes occurs with this title. A poster in very good original condition without any restoration.
