Two original Invitations (both 4"x 7") relating to the V&A "The Fabric of Pop" exhibition 18th July - 18th Aug 1974.

The "Fabric of Pop" was an exhibition at the V&A, 18th July - 18th Aug 1974, celebrating the Pop-Art movement & it's impact on textile design & fashion. This was one of the first major exhibitions of its kind, bestowing an academic credence to the cultural phenomenon of Pop-Art.

Both Invitations are for a Private Viewing on the evening of 17th July from Mr Hugh Wakefield, "Keeper of the Department of Circulation", one an image of a printed Pop-Art fabric by Leon Rosenblatt & the other bearing a cloth print of Andy Warhol's Campbell's soup imagery.
