Flash Gordon Poster

A 2020 licensed lithograph "variant" poster (24"x 36") for "Flash Gordon" (1980) with artwork by Matt Ferguson.

This "gold foil variant" poster was issued in a landscape format in a print run of just 195 worldwide. The poster has been numbered & signed by the artist in gold pen. A fabulous memento released on the 40th anniversary of this cult film favourite.

This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies.
