House of Wax Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the 1982 re-release of the classic horror film "House of Wax" (1953).

The feel of the poster is deliberately retro (the stark image of the dagger to the left being the only nod to the contemporary "slasher" genre). The artist for this glorious re-interpretation of the 1953 film was Brian Bysouth (see Sim Branaghan's "British Film Posters" book for more info).
