Islands in the Stream Poster

US 1-Sheet conservation paper-backed movie poster for the drama "Islands In The Stream" (1977).

Based on an Ernest Hemingway story & set in the Caribbean at the onset of WWII, the film told the story of an aging sculpture & his three sons. This is a relatively unknown film but was blessed with a haunting Jerry Goldsmith score (which was the composer's favourite) & a poster campaign featuring some striking artwork by Bob Peak.

Poster conservation paper-backed (light touch-ins to foldline wear) & in superb condition. One of the more unusual pieces of Bob Peak poster illustration (map chest 7).
