Jaws Poster
A 2022 privately commissioned AMP screenprint poster (24"x 36") for "Jaws" (1975) with Ethan Pro artwork.
As an example of "Fan Art", this poster was printed in tiny numbers only & has been hand-numbered "29/40". The composition has been inspired by the format of the original 1975 US 1-sheet poster with the NSS number appended to the bottom rim. This is the "regular" edition of the poster (a "red variant" was printed too, though in a larger print run of 155).
This poster is in near mint condition with beautiful neat crisp corners. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted. NB. We do not use Photoshop on this website to artificially enhance colours - the colours on this poster really are this bold & vibrant.
The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
