The Mind Benders Poster

Scarce UK Quad cinema poster for the British thriller "The Mind Benders" (1963) with poster artwork by Tom Chantrell.

Starring Dirk Bogarde & Mary Ure the film investigated the theme of "brainwashing". The poster design is an amalgam of artwork & photographic imagery (Chantrell was adept at mixing both components). The discordant colours & series of close-up increasingly pixelated shots of Mary Ure's face, create a suitable sense of psychological tension. This is a difficult Quad to find & far scarcer than the equivalent UK 1-Sheet (UK 1-Sheet image shown for reference courtesy of emovieposter) - emovieposter last sold one of these Quads back in 2009 but have sold four UK 1-Sheets since 2011.

Poster folded with several small conservation tape strengtheners to edge foldline splits etc. Overall in very good condition.
