Jungle Book Poster

Scarce first release UK Quad cinema poster for Disney's "Jungle Book" (1967).

It was customary in the 1960's-70's for classic Disney films to be regularly re-released (usually with different poster designs), however, this "Jungle Book" is the scarce first release. Clearly the poster design was meant to "re-boot" the franchise appealing to "a new generation". The three references to "swinging" both nodded to the up-tempo jazzy soundtrack & also chimed with the hip language of the 60's. However, the left side of the poster shows glimpses of Disney favourites "Snow White" & "Mickey Mouse" to provide reassurance that the film was still in keeping with Disney's core values!

Poster folded but in excellent order & in totally original un-restored condition.
