Walt Disney Memorabilia Poster

An interesting piece of vintage Hollywood memorabilia being a two-page table seating plan for the "Twenty-Sixth Annual Luncheon of the National Board of Review" at the Hotel Pennsylvania, New York City, 16th Nov 1940.

The seating plan runs alphabetically from "A" to "S" with various recognisable names from the movie industry of the time, including Mr Walt Disney. Befitting his status in the industry, Disney was seated on the "Dais".

Apart from a huge back catalogue of successful "shorts", Disney was already established in the feature length market, "Snow White..." (1937) & "Pinocchio" (1940) already being big hits. However, the significance of this New York luncheon was that just three days earlier "Fantasia" had premiered in New York on the 13th Nov 1940. Walt Disney was almost certainly the most famous attendee at this function.

Item folded with slight splits but a relatively early & fascinating piece of Walt Disney memorabilia.
