Le Bonheur Poster

UK Quad poster for the French New Wave film "Le Bonheur" (1965) aka "Happiness".

A beautiful piece of poster illustration by Fred Payne. Payne is a relatively unknown artist & is very under-rated. His output is always very distinctive. He appears to have worked freelance, mostly with independent distributors such as Gala & so produced artwork for both exploitation films & high-brow fare such as this.

This example of the poster is in scarce unfolded condition. A few minor edge marks but overall in excellent condition.
