Listen Up Philip Poster

Scarce UK Quad for the little-known indie film "Listen Up Philip" (2014), set & filmed in New York.

This is a rare example of a "modern" poster created from a traditional painted design. The artist is Anna Katrina Bak who is a long-term collaborator with director Alex Ross Perry (for more insight, please see https://geminianum.tumblr.com/post/138940156593/interview-with-anna-katrina-bak). The resulting poster stands out, being "different" compared to the vast majority of modern cinema posters which are photographic/computer generated designs. Isolated examples like this & the growing Mondo scene hint of a kick-back against the homogeneous nature of modern movie poster design.

The poster is single-sided & unfolded. Has a few light surface scuffs but displays very well.
