Town Without Pity Poster

UK Quad poster for the US courtroom drama "Town Without Pity" (1961).

This is a superb piece of poster art featuring a powerful impressionistic image of the film's star, Kirk Douglas. Set on location in Germany, the film told the story of the gang rape of a local village girl by 4 US soldiers. The cruelly malicious interrogation of the girl on the witness stand, causes her to breakdown and eventually commit suicide. Tough but regrettably still a topical theme.

Poster folded with single pin-holes to corners & a tiny slither of paper loss to lower left white rim. Overall in very good condition.
