Mars Attacks Poster

A 2023 Fan Art screenprint poster (24"x 36") for "Mars Attacks!" (1996) with artwork by Kevin Wilson.

A fantastic piece of artwork for this wonderful tongue-in-cheek scifi-comedy. This privately commissioned poster was limited to just 110 worldwide. The 10-colour screenprint poster has been printed on "Fedrigoni Old Mill Stucco Premium White" paper. A gloss varnish layer has been applied to the tagline & the Martian's glass dome. Poster hand-numbered in the bottom right corner.

This poster is in near mint condition (a couple of minute specks to the lower rim as shown). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
