Miss Julie Poster

Scarce unfolded UK Quad cinema poster (30"x 40") for the early Helen Mirren film "Miss Julie" (1972) with poster artwork by Tom Chantrell.

Better known for his work in the "sexploitation" genre, Tony Tensor's Tigon Films occasionally went "high-brow", as here (this being a film based on a Strindberg play by the Royal Shakespeare Company). In her long illustrious Film/TV career, Shakespearian actress Helen Mirren has appeared in over 150 Film/TV productions but "Miss Julie" was only her third Big Screen role. Given the nature of the film, the print run for this film was small & posters like this are scarce. A really good, early piece of Helen Mirren memorabilia & one of the scarcer Chantrell Quads too!

Poster in scarce unfolded condition with a couple of tiny edge nicks/creases but overall in superb condition. This poster originally came from the artist's own collection & written testament to this fact will be supplied.
