On Her Majesty's Secret Service Poster

A 2022 privately commissioned 16-colour screenprint AMP poster (30"x 40") for the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1967) with artwork by Paul Mann.

Artist Paul Mann issued the artwork in a screenprinted poster run of 165 in the usual AMP size of 24"x 36" & a further 90 24"x 36" sized giclees but in homage to the original release Quad cinema poster, Mann also released this Quad format 30"x 40" AMP, the print run limited to just 100. Mann's artwork presents an heraldic crest & crown to the left side & George Lazenby to the right, imperious as he leans out from a helicopter whilst a battle rages around him, the snow billowing in the downdraft. The poster is printed on specialised "Coventry Cotton Rag" paper & the poster has been hand-numbered in the lower right corner. A scarce Bond poster with only 100 issued worldwide. The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters.
