The Great Battle Poster

UK Quad poster for the Soviet war film "The Great Battle" (1973).

The film was a segment of an 8-hour movie called "Liberation" which was released in the Soviet Union in stages 1971-74. "The Great Battle" focused on the Battle of Kursk 1943. The artist Vic Fair designed & (we believe) illustrated this Quad poster. Due to the specialised nature of the film (subtitles etc) it was not widely seen at the time & indeed is one of the scarcest of all WWII genre film posters. This example has pin-holes & minor tape marks to corners but overall remains in very good condition.
