Raiders Of The Lost Ark Poster

UK Quad first release cinema poster for "The Raiders Of The Lost Ark" (1981), the debut in what was to become a series of films.

The poster for this Spielberg blockbuster shows Harrison Ford with trademark bull-whip in hand. The glorious poster illustration was by Brian Bysouth. Although an alternative Quad featuring the Richard Amsel artwork from the American advertising campaign was also used, the Bysouth poster is the more sought after of the two. The "A" certification indicates that this is a poster from the first release of the film (later "PG" rated posters are for subsequent re-releases though these are sometimes wrongly represented as first release posters).

Poster folded & in excellent overall condition.
