Rebel Without A Cause

Vic Fair original concept artwork (16 1/2"x 21 1/4") for the 1976 re-release of the James Dean film "Rebel Without A Cause" (1955).

Although a preliminary design, Fair captures the moody, brooding potency of the young idol perfectly. The basic pose was carried over into the finished design for the Quad poster (see image of the finished artwork for comparison). The composition consists of a pencil sketch on paper, pen & ink detail & magic marker colour pen work. This is a large piece of Vic Fair concept art which would look great framed. Artwork will be sent rolled in a tube.
