Silken Skin Poster

UK Quad poster for French drama "Silken Skin" aka "La Peau Douce" (1967), the film directed & written by Francois Truffaut.

The powerful poster illustration is by Fred Payne. Payne was a freelance artist who did much of his work for independent distributors such as Compton & Gala. He was active in the 1950's-60's but appears to have retired in the 70's when much of the work for the independents moved to AWA & hence Tom Chantrell & Sam Peffer. This poster is an excellent example pf Payne's work.

The poster has minor creasing to upper left rim & a few light surface marks but overall remains in very good condition.
