UK Quad poster for the scifi-adventure "Master of The World" (1961).

The stories of Jules Verne proved to be a happy hunting-ground for 20th century film-makers. As the poster proudly boasts, "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" (1954) & "Around The World In 80 Days" (1956) had already been hits prior to "Master of The world being released. Other Jules Verne adaptations such as "Mysterious Island" (1951), "From The Earth To The Moon" (1958) & "Journey To The Centre of The Earth" (1959) were also well-known, so it was hardly surprising that the poster marketing latched on to the Jules Verne franchise so explicitly. An attractive early 60's Quad.
