The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad Poster

THREE Ray Harryhausen screenprinted Alternative Movie Posters (all 24"x 36") released 2020-21, comprised of "The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad" (1958), "Jason & The Argonauts" (1963) & "20 Million Miles To Earth" (1957).

These were all licenced gallery limited releases, the artists & print runs being respectively Laurent Durieux (275), Kilian Eng (180) & Francesco Francavilla (175). Each poster reflects the idiosyncratic style of the individual artists & provides a wonderful example of the artistic range within the Mondo/AMP movement. A great memento to Ray Harryhausen too, a highly influential figure in 20th century cinema. These posters have no discernible faults & are as close to mint as you will find (we handle these posters with proper conservation quality gloves in order to keep them as pristine as possible). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. A wonderful opportunity to lock in THREE scarce posters (all sold together & will NOT be splt).

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
