The Blue Max Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for the WWI aerial adventure "The Blue Max" (1966).

This well regarded film was made in Ireland & though liberties were taken with the designs of the aircraft used, the aerial photography was impressive for the times. The poster design is sometimes attributed to Chantrell but this is NOT the case. The artwork was adapted from Frank McCarthy's American poster campaign (US 1-Sheet image courtesy of emovieposter). Poster once folded but now linen-backed with a couple of tiny marks to white upper but overall in very good condition & appears to have required no restoration at all (Sleeve).
