The Dam Busters Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the 2018 re-release of "The Dam Busters" (1955).

This re-release was on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the intrepid RAF raid on Nazi Germany in May 1943. A re-mastered version of the film was shown in selected cinemas for one day only & was accompanied with footage from a live event at the Royal Albert Hall. To commemorate & publicise the event special artwork was commissioned from the American poster artist Paul Mann. Mann is one of the leading lights in the Mondo/AMP poster scene & his compositions have a retro feel (hence a very suitable choice to provide illustration for this particular poster).

Poster unfolded, double-sided, with minor creasing left rim & overall in very good condition.
