The Long Days Dying Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the little-known WWII drama "The Long Days Dying" (1968).

Noteworthy for being an early film by director Peter Collinson & made just before his great success with "The Italian Job" (1969). Produced on a restricted budget, the "The Long Days Dying" tracked the progress of three British soldiers as they try to get through enemy lines with a captured German. The dialogue was sparse being replaced with frequent narration, a technique which divided opinion at the time. The film reflected the popular anti-war movement at the time (much influenced by events in Vietnam).

Poster folded & in excellent condition.
