The Green Helmet Poster

UK Quad poster for the British motor racing thriller "The Green Helmet" (1961).

This is a poster for both motor racing fans & connoisseurs of fantastic poster art too. The film featured the Lister Jaguar & Bill Travers as a racing driver who gets twitchy after several crashes. Stirling Moss was hired to provide technical advice & racing driver Jack Brabham also appeared & is credited on the poster. The poster artwork is believed to be by Renato Fratini, the sense of speed & danger beautifully conveyed by the sparing painted strokes (Fratini worked at speed & eschewed detail). We've just sold one of these Quads but like the "proverbial London bus" another has just turned up - irrespective this is a scarce Quad title!

Poster folded with several small tape marks to rim, some crossfold wear, a tiny slither of white rim trimmed bottom right edge etc but overall in very good display condition.
