The Iron Petticoat Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the British comedy starring Bob Hope & Katharine Hepburn "The Iron Petticoat" (1956).

Of particular note is the poster artist, Rosemary Pryer (sic) aka "Rosemary Pryor". The 20th century British cinema poster industry was virtually a "closed shop" for female artists & Rosemary Pryor remains an exceptional case of a lone female artist being able to break through. Poster folded with pin-holes to corners & three small conservation tape repairs to the reverse. Overall in good condition.
