The Italian Job Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the double-bill feature of "The Italian Job" (1969) & "To Monte Carlo or Bust" (1969), this c' 1971-72.

The poster carries over elements from both original Quad designs, here making the Minis much larger than on the original "Italian Job" Quad & featuring a single part of Ronald Searle's artwork from "Monte Carlo...". The "What a Smash Programme" centrepiece is presented in a contemporary Pop-Art style.

Double-bill posters for re-release packages (as here), often featured a reduced colour range compared to the original release Quads. Nonetheless, these posters are often just a fraction of the price of the first release posters. A nice first release "Italian Job" Quad would currently retail at £3,500-£4,500.

Poster folded as issued but looks un-used & is in superb clean condition.
