The Touchables Poster

Unusual UK commercial poster (29 1/2"x 41") featuring the actress Marilyn Rickard, an actress from the low budget British film "The Touchables" (1968).

An interesting but little-known film co-written by Ian Frenais with David & Donald Cammell (Donald of "Performance" fame). The film had a rock star being kidnapped & enjoyed by four groupies, one being Ms Rickard & another being Judy Huxtable (later married to Peter Cook). The director was Robert Freeman, the fashion photographer & better-known for designing & photographing the early Beatles LP covers. The poster was published by "Personality Posters" in 1968.

The poster unfolded with wear & slight paper loss to the right/left rims but a scarce item relating to this cult British film.
