The Two Faces of Dr Jekyll Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Hammer horror "The Two Faces of Dr Jekyll" (1960).

An early & scarce Hammer film poster. As Macus Hearn points out in his book "The Art of Hammer" (2010), Laurence Harvey was originally intended for the lead role & the poster design appears to take it's influence from Harvey's film from the previous year, "Room at the Top" (1960), image courtesy of emovieposter.com. Although the film proved to be an early flop for Hammer, it has subsequently found favour with many Hammer fans, particularly for the performance by Christopher Lee.

The poster has light fold-line wear & a couple of tiny rim nicks. An interesting piece of early Hammer memorabilia. For an idea of relative value ebid have this poster currently offered at £1,750.
