The Wild Geese Poster

UK Quad poster for mercenary adventure "The Wild Geese" (1978).

Although not a classic WWII film poster (it being an African mercenary film), this is nonetheless, a very collectable war genre poster. Some fantastic artwork here courtesy of Arnaldo Putzu. The film almost fell at the first hurdle as the twinning of the two notorious hell-raisers, Burton & Harris, had insurers running scared but with onerous strictures imposed & agreed to, a moderately sober film shoot ensued. Putzu provides excellent paintings of the boisterous leads!
