Warm Nights Hot Pleasures
Original Sam Peffer painted concept artwork (10 1/2"x 14 1/4" overall) for the film "Warm Nights, Hot Pleasures" (1981).
Peffer completed two concept artworks for this commission but this was the design chosen for the Quad poster which Peffer subsequently illustrated. Peffer was paid £240 for this work. Peffer is best known for his work alongside Tom Chantrell for the independent sector in the 1970's-80's. Among his best known posters are, "Flash Gordon" (1977), "Hussy" (1979), "Prisoner of The Cannibal God" (1980), "Shogun Assassin" (1981) etc.
Artwork mainly watercolour & pen & ink illustration on paper laid to card. Sam Peffer artwork is rarely seen in the market so this piece represents a good opportunity to acquire a nice example of Peffer's work & a relatively small size so easy to frame too (artwork pictured in a protective cellophane sleeve)
