Way Of The Dragon Poster
UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for "The Way Of The Dragon" (1972), one of the best-known of Bruce Lee Kung-Fu Movies.The fact that the movie was set in Rome reflected both the worldwide appeal of such films at the time and indeed marked a conscious effort by the Hong Kong movie industry to tap international markets. This was the last film Lee was to complete. Whilst in Hong Kong filming "The Game of Death", Lee suffered a seizure and died, fuelling the rumour that certain martial arts experts had had him poisoned for divulging the centuries hidden secrets of their arts!
Poster originally folded but now linen-backed. Prior to backing the poster was in superb condition (a tiny mark to upper white background only). There has been no over-painting at all.
A beautiful backed example of this classic Bruce Lee film poster (map chest 6).
