Whoops Apocalypse

Original Vic Fair painted concept artwork (23 1/2"x 33 1/2") thought to be for the satirical British comedy "Whoops Apocalypse" (1986).

Featuring a revolving carousel of characters against a blue background, this is an intriguing Vic Fair design which could be cut down & framed to excellent effect. This artwork has been completed in pastels (an unusual medium for Fair to work in). The artwork is laid to artboard with a tracing paper overlay & a cover sheet marked "Handel With Care Pastel Artwork" (note the artist's humour with the deliberate mis-spelling of "handle"!). Among other well-known British/American actors/comedians featured in the film were Rik Mayall, Alexyi Sayle, Hernert Lom, Murray Hamilton, Graeme Garden, John Sessions, Ian Richardson, Ed Bishop etc.
