20th Century Fox Poster

A piece of 20th century cinema history: a framed & glazed "20th Century Fox" (1987) trademark logo poster (26 7/8"x 38 7/8" overall).

This poster was displayed in one of the executive offices of the old UK HQ of 20th Century Fox Studios at Fox House in Soho. The poster was printed in the US in 1987 & carries the script "Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation" in the bottom right corner. Few of these posters were printed as they were neither sold commercially or used in cinemas to promote a film. The iconic imagery dates from the 1930's & was by artist Emil Kosa Jr & subsequently updated by Rocky Longo in the 1950's.

The 1930's poster design presents an impressive skyscraper building with searchlights piercing the sky: the effect being spectacular, awe-inspiring & resonating with the glitz & glamour of Hollywood's golden era.

Poster unfolded & in excellent condition, glass glazed & displayed in a walnut effect frame.
