Billy Budd

Tom Beauvais concept painted artwork (16"x 19 3/4") for "Billy Budd" (1962).

The artwork shows the accused "Billy" (played by a young Terence Stamp in his first co-starring role) with a noose around his neck. Though this artwork was unused it has been signed & annotated by the artist. During his lengthy career Beauvais was responsible for creating artwork for some iconic Quad posters ie, "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid", "Fantastic Voyage", "Mad Max", "Zombie Flesh Eaters" etc but very little Beauvais artwork has survived making this piece of particular interest.
