The Long Good Friday Poster

Scarce Style-B UK Quad cinema poster for British gangster classic "The Long Good Friday" (1979), the poster featuring the larger image of Bob Hoskins as opposed to the mini images of Hoskins & Helen Mirren on the more usual Style-A Quad (for comparison see https://www.moviepostermem.com/The-Long-Good-Friday-Poster/61895).

This was an important film being pivotal in the big screen careers of both Bob Hoskins & Helen Mirren. However, the film was destined just for a TV release until ex-Beatle George Harrison's Handmade Films acquired the film from ITC to provid a cinema release instead. The film is also noteworthy for introducing Pierce Brosnan as an IRA assasin in his cinema debut.

Poster folded with a conservation tape repair to 1/2" nick to upper right rim but overall in excellent condition (we also currently have a rolled example of this poster too: https://www.moviepostermem.com/The-Long-Good-Friday-Poster/60471

NB. A supplementary P&P charge will be required for overseas buyers.
