Carry On Cowboy Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for "Carry On Cowboy" (1965) the Carry On spoof of the western genre.

This bright colourful poster presents some gorgeous Chantrell illustration with Sid James centre stage de-feathering Charles Hawtrey to the left & chatting up Angela Douglas on the right. In the background far right is a suitably horrified Kenneth Williams. In typical style, Chantrell brings the film title to life with use of an old western style font. This is one of the top 3-4 of all Carry On Quad posters. NB. Prior to backing the poster was in very good condition with various pin-holes to corners light creasing & annotations to the reverse (used for kids drawing!!!) but this does NOT show through to the front. Little restoration required & the poster displays to excellent overall effect as shown, the colours naturally bold & vibrant. This is a rare poster, priced in accordance with condition & will NOT be discounted.
