UK Quad cinema poster for the American crime-drama with a nautical theme "Devil Ship" (1947).

Loosely based on the US 1-Sheet design (image courtesy of emovieposter) this stone litho UK Quad appears crude in comparison but being so soon after the end of the war, shortages & austerity in Britain meant resources were scarce.

Poster folded with pin-holes to rim & minor edge wear/damage (what appears to be a closed tear to the upper left is actually an original print fault where the ink was printed on top of a small crease in the paper). An interesting & scarce Quad poster.
