A 2022 officially licensed screenprint AMP poster (24"x 36") for the Ryan Gosling-Carey Mulligan thriller "Drive" (2011) with artwork by Laurent Durieux.
One of Durieux's most popular screenprint AMP's, this poster was issued (& sold out) in an edition of 350 posters, each hand-numbered to the lower right corner. The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.
