Hangar 18 Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the American scifi-adventure "Hangar 18" (1980) with poster illustration by Tom Chantrell.

A lot of work went into this Quad poster with Chantrell supplying three different concepts before being commissioned to deliver a finished artwork. The result is a colourful, exciting composition. The print run for this poster, however, was relatively small: just 1,000 in April 1980 & a further run of 1,000 posters later in the release in Aug 1980. Chantrell was paid a grand total of £460 for his three concepts & the finished art.

Poster folded with light foldline wear & overall in very good condition.
